That's a pretty good list. Except I think I'd add:
11. Liu Kang (c'mon, he's half dead already and I don't like undoing unexpected story turns)
12. Mavado (don't like Red Dragons at all - come to think of it, maybe Daegon too)
13. Bo' Rai Cho (enough joke characters, and a fallen mentor always makes for good drama)
14. Meat (was he even a real character? If the story they said was true, he should die by Shang Tsung's hand, the creator destroying his creation) 
I was going to actually add Liu Kang and Meat but decided against it because people love Liu Kang. Also thanks for adding these 4 to the list. Feel free to add more.
OK! I think I will! These are more characters I've either never really liked or think they're out of story:
15. Jax (never liked him from Day One--or MK2--whichever; we already have a military presence and she's better to look at)
16. Kintaro (seemed like a Goro rip-off and he's more well known, which leads to...)
17. Sheeva (she was already mentioned as being killed off during the Deadly Alliance Konquest, and with no bio explaining her reappearance, she might as well be as good as dead, which leads to...)
18. Motaro (see Sheeva)
19. Jarek (never liked him and his first appearance was so supposed to be Kano)
20. Blaze (his story's done, or did he die at Armageddon's end?  )
Well, that's an even 20. I think that would be good. Now they should make another stand-alone MK that answers some more questions and finishes some more stories for good -- like maybe Jade and more Edenians killing Tanya after she pulls the ultimate betrayal (still trying to figure that one out) and maybe some of the Forces of Darkness (Onaga, Shao Khan, Quan Chi, or Shang Tsung) dying by either a hero's hand or each other's. But that would need a good story to go with it. That's it! The next MK game! Mortal Kombat: Darkness! You could set up a new tournament style using the new engine which involves these 4 bosses (maybe enhanced someway like Blaze was). The idea just came to me so I haven't thought of specifics, but if anyone would like to brainstorm, this is a good place for it.

Liu Kang, I mean you got yo opinions but his new storyline is great the vendetta with Raiden priceless, him taking Raidens place perfect. That storyline has potential. Smoke, with a story and him being human (not mka) could be great also. I think they should connect his story with Sub-Zero's again.

Yeah, that's true! But I can't really see him staying as a zombie for long. Liu fans didn't seem to like that change, and non-fans will get tired of him being around just as a zombie. So the other choices are completely revive him or kill him, and I don't want him revived because they've already done that too many times, and his death was so cool and unexpected that it's both a disappointment and a waste to just have him alive again (complete with the same moves, no doubt).

 Damn retcon. To this day I think Johnny Cage should have stayed dead after MK2, even though I'm sure the story was created due to the actor's breaking company policies (the real one, of course, not Cage ). Not that I hate Cage -- not really a fan either -- but what's wrong with saying a character was killed and leaving him dead? I ask you, honestly!

Exactly! And how many of those fatalities have actually been used? One? And that's if Scorpion actually scorched Sub-Zero instead of just snapping his neck or someting.
