I've heard of GI Joe. We British did have them toys as well you know, although I never did myself. But I have still never heard of Cobra Commander, not that much of a big deal to me really.

GI Joe was a mainstream in the '80s. Not everyone followed it (to many top series debuted). And though it has died down, the movie is releasing soon, and folks are trying to bring it back as a realistic series on something like HBO. If you want to know more, the GI Joe convention is in Atlanta, GA again this year during the fall.

I don't think I'll be attending the Atlanta convention. Quite a distance from the UK to just see GI Joey Boy
