Without any assistance or help, I made this animation. It is kind of crappy looking, it looks way better, more polish and faster frame-rate on the GIMP program. As soon as I figure out how to properly save it to the right extension, and how to preserve the polish, I'll re-post it.

That was my first attempt. I made it without truly knowing what I was doing 
I still don't yet know how to fix this so it looks like the original on my computer, but when I do, I'll re-post it at a later time with other animations.

The program to make these animations is LEGALLY available to download from www.mortalkombatonline.com in the fan submission section. The program is called GIMP.
Sprites were downloaded from www.mortalkombatwarehouse.com
I used Sub-Zero sprites, clicked RGB, then clicked Hue/Saturation, Then I clicked LIGHT BLUE (not regular blue) and set the color to + 67 using the top scroll bar. This changed Sub-Zero to Rain, blue to purple.
The lightning sprites were Nightwolf's Fatality sprites, but were edited, later, by me, which wasn't an easy task.
When Nightwolf explodes, I used and edited many different sprites to make his lower half fall to the ground with better animation. Blood and chunk sprites were edited too. Lots of editing, erasing, copy/pasting.
I copied my first image under a different file name, created a new layer, and edited the other image, which would be pasted on a new layer, after pressing CTRL + Z and CTRL + Y over and over (Undo and Redo), I was able to see how off my second picture was as compared to the first layer. Then I undo the paste and edit it to work with the first image, then I re-paste, and if the image works as the next step in the animation, I anchor the layer, save, then click animation Playback in the "filters" option. In animation playback it shows the animation created so far, but the animation itself will look better on the GIMP program's playback than it does after uploading it as a video.
I figured out ALL of this by myself with NO help whatsoever, with exeption to reading a FAQ that showed me how to change color of sprites. Other than that the FAQ answered no questions I had.
If you want to try this, it took me three days to figure out some of the different options with the program, and another three to complete this animation from start to finish.
Thank you for not noticing that I forgot to add FINISH HIM to the animation. That was the first thing I should have put in.

I just found out that a book I have, Creating Web Pages For Dummies, has detailed infromation on the Flash 5 program, which is not too different from the GIMP program. I wish I'd known this earlier, but now that I do, my animations should be much better in the future.
