	Because of John Vogel, the history of the amulet is not clear. We know that it was created millions of years ago, Shinnok stole it, tried to own Earth, got owned himself by Raiden, amulet got locked to the Temple of Elements. But in some point, Onaga owned it and his army is loyal only to "He who possesses the amulet" (according to Shang's MKDA ending). Then MKM happened, MKSM's ending happened (Boon says it is canon, which he leared from Vogel), MK4 happened, MKDA and MKD moved on. In Quan Chi's ending, we see that Quan Chi becomes the amulet. Is this true? Did the Elder Gods created it by pulling an evil sorcerer from the future (actually the reverse happened)? What do you think? -----signature----- Love is a name. Sex is a game. 	Shinnok did not steal the amulet. He made the amulet which "can be created only once" (MKM manual) by fusing "the four elements which compose the real existence of our Realm". Onaga's army (even before the Grate Kung Lao's Mortal Kombat) was loyal to him. Only when the army is resurrected by Shang Tsung, the undead soliders must obey the possessor of the amulet. What is really strange is Shaolin Monks ending... Quan Chi gets the amulet after the original Sub-Zero defeated the Fire God in the temple of elements, before MK1. It is strange that he gets it AGAIN in the end of Mortal Kombat 2 (Shaolin Monks is an adventure-game version of MK2). And about MKA Quan Chi's ending... its the most stupid ending I've seen, it's like Raziel being imprisoned in the Soul Reaver, maybe they took the idea from the Legacy of Kain serie! -----signature----- I serve no one, not the Lin-Kuei and NOT YOU! I don't like to bring up an old topic but this is something that I want to discuss about. Onaga's army was loyal to him but, the ancient Runestone says things about the amulet and the army so they are connected somehow. Onaga probably took possession of the amulet some time. But how? Quan Chi's MKA ending says that Shinnok "discovered" it, not "created" it. It was probably created along with the Kamidogu. The amulet in MKSM was probably a fake that Quan Chi created in MKM but somehow Shao Kahn took possesssion of it and Quan Chi went to Outworld to take it back to fool Shinnok with it. -----signature----- Love is a name. 	Quan chi has been imrisoned sometime ago according to Mileena in MKA. I hope they will reveal it in a bio... And I checked the ending once again, the soul transfer spell makes them loyal to "He who possesses the amulet". 	and about the Amulet mix up. The fake amulets had power,but it would ran out after a while,using the real one,(i presume he used the real one)Quan Chi created duplicates every time a duplicate was almost out of power.
