Midway recently released an ALL racing game arcade treasures. Do you think that soon we might see an all fighting game arcade treasures that including all the MK game that were in the arcade?

who knows.....they could be bonuses on mk7 as the Blu-ray discs can hold 50 gb. and average games these days are 5 -10 gigs. so hopefully.

im certain a PS2 disc could alrady handle it.. they could even include subzero and special forces mythologies..
and make mortal kombat 4 into mortal kombat 4 gold and mortal kombat 3 into mortal kombat trilogy or at least ultimate mortal kombat 3

If it was an arcade classics game then it couldn't be MK Gold. It wasn't in the arcades.
As a bouns on MK7 would be great, but TBH, I don't see that happening unfortantely.

Exactly! It can very well happen. Although I don't think it would be necessary.
I think I saw a name similar to Arc_The_Lad when my brother was playing Area 51 online.

u must take into consideration that the mk games all contain a lot of information, more than the racing games and a single cd cannot hold everything so more than likely (even tho it would be freakin sweet) it isnt going to happen sorry but its the truth.

well .. mk1 ,2 and 3 are actaully really small games.. they dont take alot of information.. they're just a few megs.. im not sure how large MK4 is but lets just say at most a size of 1 normail cd.. heck even if each mk game has the size of 1 cd, they could still include them all and even more in 1 dvd

For PS2 and Xbox you can get a game called Midway Arcade Treasures - this has both MK2 and MK3 on the same disc - so yeah it would be very possible they could be put on same disc - and hopefully very likely too!

My concern is that will Midway ever give ULTIMATE MORTAL KOMBAT 3 the dignity it deserves? I mean, c´mon it´s one hell of a game: it´s mk 3 and more characters, scenes and all, I only could play it with MAME and it could not be compared to the quality on Midway´s arcade treasures compilations. I would gladly purchase a compilation though I already have MK I on the bonus disc of MK deception (very good conversion) and MK II and MK 3 on Midway´s arcade treasures 2 (also excellent conversions). The thing is that most of us MK fans yearn to have the exact same games we loved to see on the arcades. So having another MK trilogy for home sistems would be a waste of a good oportunity. Maybe they should make a two CD set with every version ever released, from MK I to UMK 3 and maybe add MK 4 if it´s posible. Eitherway, I believe that UMK 3 will be released as a good conversion such as the previus games.

ps2 discs are made from Digital Video Discs (DVD) the old playstation games are made from Compact discs (CD).
here is how much each can hold
CD=700 megabytes
DVD=4,700 megabytes (4.7 gigabytes)
WARNING: Math Ahead.
700 goes into 4,700 SIX(6) times with a remainder of 500. Chances are some games don't fillup the whole disc. So the programmers can more than likely put 7 classic games on a single ps2 disk.
Plus, i have mk1 on my pc and it's only 2 megs.
The only problem is mk3 and umk3 are just smaller versions of TRILOGY. Trilogy has all the same things, but with extras. The pragrammers might also think the customers will get bored with mk1 and mk2 and just play the better (in thier mind) games.

I think Midway can only put MK1,MK2,MK3 on a disk not MK1,MK2, AND MK3

Nintendo put 6 Zeldagames on one disc so yeah i think Mk1, Mk2, Mk3, Mk4 on one disc is possible but i hardley think they could put The rest on the same disc (but would be cool if they could put Mk:Gold and MK3:ultimate on it)

i hope it does !! maybe someone could e mail midway or one of the moderators of this site about it.maybe they will make a midway arcade treasures 4 with ultimate mk 3 mk4 and just cuz midway can mk gold
(curses damn u dreamcast under his breath) along with other midway classics. heck if capcom can do it with their classics collection why can't midway right? please please think about ur fans midway
