Well...If a rotting decaying corpse came into my bedroom in the middle of the night with some sort of tribial mask on his face and a spiked club...Yes. I'd be scared.
But he isn't real, and this is in the wrong section

Easy solution. Select Pratice Mode, choose Drahmin as your oppoanent and any of the big bosses, may I suggest Shao Kahn, as he is a true brute, and that is what you want. When the match begins just knock seven bells into him (or beat the s88t out of him in other words) Use Kahns throws, were he lifts them up by the neck and smacks him in the ugly face.
Best thing is to select an arena with deathtraps, so you can constantly keep killing the b*****d over and over,until you are not afraid anymore, cause it will be satisfying watching Drahmin die hundreds of times.
I do this for revenge when characters have given me a hard time in Arcade Mode, and is most normally is Drahimn that ticks me off. So in this sense it works for me,maybe it will work for you, I don't know.

I won't make fun of the poster's belief but I'll say that Drahmin could have been considered scary back in 80s or maybe 90s

What you mean because he could pass as Jason Vorhess? with that mask I mean?
Well, Drahmin isn't pleasant to look at I have to say, but I wouldn't consider him to be scary. I'm more concerned about his hygiene than anything. He has a terrible skin condition, plus he has them really annoying flies buzzing round his head. That is one reason why I don't like fighting him, them bugs annoy me more than Drahmin himself.

Wow, Drahmin!! He is as ugly as can be! But I like him a lot. He's cool and quick.
For a newbie like me, Drahmin is really powerful, especially his Iron Fist (1,1,1). He's the only character I can use to complete the arcade in hard mode, besides bosses.
I find Drahmin easy to defeat Blaze or Onaga only by circling them (moving around them) and using Iron Fist all the time.

But when I do Ground Smash, opponents often manage to evade! 
I always use this move at the beginning of a fight, if succeeds, Iron Fist (1,1,1) or, even better, Klubbing Time (1,1,2) is followed, and the opponent loses immediately around 20-30 points! Ha-hah.
If he dodges, it's OK, at least I switched from Hung Gar to Iron Club.
