The box is just there for entering cheat codes for unlocking costumes, arenas, Blaze, Taven, Daegon, Meat, and a litle bit more. Nothing big. You can find those on any random site after typing in Mortal Kombat Armageddon Cheat Codes at Google.

It unlocks things you can unlock from Konquest like Taven and Blaze for instance. Just get 60 Relics.

lol 1 trip for me. I made sure I didn't miss one. I have a good eye. Every room that had torches,I looked for an unlit one just to be sure. I almost missed Sub-Zero's amulet.

I did my 3 trips before an online guide became available. I only got 45 my first time through. It seems I missed a lot more than you did.
