Kano (Original Black Dragon. Awesome.)
Kabal (Leader of the New Black Dragon. Equally Awesome.)
Kira (She kicks ass compared to Kobra. Also, she's a Black Dragon.)
Jax (Who doesn't love metal arms?)
Darrius (I could do the Body re-arranger fatality all day and still laugh.)
Mokap (Because it pisses all of you off.)
Raiden (Dark Raiden to be precise. Good Raiden was boring.)
Jarek (Sure. He was a bit of a Kano rip-off. But now he's a lot cooler.)

1) Liu Kang (Clearly the strongest)
2) Raiden (2nd strongest)
3) Shang Tsung (Awesome Antagonist)
4) Subzero (By far better then Scorpion)
5) Taven (2nd best protagonist)
6) Kitana (The hottest chick in the MK universe)
7) Shujinko (I own with him in MKA)
8) Reiko (His fast and that's what I like)
9) Sektor (The strongest cyborg)
10) Scorpion (I like his combos)

2) Shinnok: Cause he is devishly evil.
3) Noob-Saibot: Cause he has direct bloodline to Sub-Zero.
4) Shang Tsung: Cause he was the first big bad guy.
5) Quan Chi: Cause he is a very powerful necromancer.
6) Raiden: Cause he and Shinnok put on a good show.
7) Shao Kahn: Cause he has a cool helmet.
8) Hotaru: Cause Deception is the best.
9) Ermac: Cause he is so mysterious.

List based on skill against CPU opponets.
1. Blaze - Ground pound, walk into background for a step or two, repeat. That method allowed me to beat the game on the hardest difficulty in the first try.
2. Onaga - His moves are so cheap, it's easy to walk the game.
3. Kintaro - high damage (40%+ combo easily) and his moves are fast, easy to do, and have a good range. He's usually my hitman if I'm having trouble.
4. Goro - Blaze's ground pound, plus telestomp.
5. Sheeva - I like shokans.
6. Shao Kahn - His special moves are so varied, it's fun to play as him. So I did for a while and am now good as him.
7. Liu Kang - I don't always use boss characters.
8. Shujinko - If you haven't noticed, I like special moves.
9.
10. I'm pretty much the same with all other characters.
