	of course he could be! Instead of being killed by sonya he may have got right in the middle of the war that was happening at the time and got mutated. Thus making his face scary looking. I can't remember if he said he was kabal on MKSM, but i thought he seemed more like mavado. Kano was bald in MK3. Kabal had long hair. Kano returned in MKDA, without any respirators. Kabal had his artificial respirators on in MKD. Both Kabal and Kano appear in MKA and in the Konquest Mode of MKA. MKSM is a part of the storyline, unless you want to go with the comics, instead of the video games themselves, which form the center of the franchise. First of all, There has been numerous hair changes throughout MKA so that arguement is considered irrelevant. Kano was in MKDA, and Kabal in MKD, MKD came after MKDA.Plus, there was no proof MKD was canon as some characters appeared dead(Sheeva for example who returned in MKA) Every character re-appeared in MKA. Jarek was pronounced officially dead, as well as sheeva, who was shown dead in MKD. The comic books are considered canon because they were written by the co-creator of Mortal Kombat. The events in MKSM are a rough outline, but do contradict the actions in the comic books. it very well could be that MKSM was right in the middle of an ongoing war between kabal and Mavado. 	Kabal is the leader of the Black Dragon clan and Daegon is the leader of the Red Dragon Clan, Kano does no longer want to be with the Red Dragon cause they tried to turn him into a reptile by doing chemical testings and all that. -----signature----- Liu Kang. In MKShaolin Monks you met both Kabal and Kano along your travels. You see Kabal as he was before Kahns extermination squads got him, and as you can see from there he is nothing like Kano. For one thing Kabal is good here, Kano was evil from MK1. Kabal has hair and side burns, Kano is bald, now unless Kano wears a wig in MKSM, or Kabal goes and gets a razor and shaves of his hair and gets to Kahns Fortress, they are clearly two different people. And how about their nationality? That to is completely different, Kano has a very strong British/Australian accent, where as Kabal has a very strong American/Elvis accent, and he does sound allot like The King, he even says those famous Elvis words, "Ah Thank You Very Much!" Now onto MK3. Remember that game? It was the third game in the series, and was the third MK Tournament, and who are the 2, in question, fighters that participates in this third tournament? Yep, that's right, Kabal and Kano, Kabal is still sorta good and in Earthrealm, Kano is helping Shao Kahn making him still evil and putting him in Outworld. And remember, this is when MK was a proper tournament, not like it is now, all over the shop. So I would consider this to be more accurate than say Armageddon. 	there was a little bit of an overlap in the storylines of MK3. But you make an impressive argument. However, There is nothing to speculate that Kano was Bald naturally. He may have just shaved his head all the time! 	your reasoning is flawed. nice theroy but completly wrong. they shown kabal's face, if they were they same person why are both in armageddon. kano was imprisoned by shao khan it ha been established, and kabal returned to earthrealm. not once was there any indication that they wee one in the same. to be completly honest i actully thought mavado was kabal when i first saw him. those 2 were more then likely to be the same then kabal and kano. which luckily was not the case -----signature----- "When your worst fear happens in front of your eyes, there's nothing left to be afraid of." ~Hal Jordan, The Green Lantern
