What is the correct way to to clockwise and counterclockwise moves with the Wii remote in MKA in the Wii?

Doesn't the Arcade Training Mode with the Remote & Nunchuk help you perform them?

I dont know if

counterclockwise = upper right circle

or to turn your wrist to the right

Sorry I mean

clockwise = turn your wrist with the Wii mote like when you turn a door knob to the right

counterclockwise = the opposite

OR

if it is like you say the upper right half circle (clockwise) or upper left half circle (counter clockwise)

Nobody has done the Poke, turn clockwise the wii mote to do the Spine Rip fatality facing you opponent (to mention one fatality) that can explain me?
