Well, Quan chi's ending is the most twisted to me since it reveals that
the medallion that he's been wearing this whole time is himself, and
sent to the past before shinnok found it.
Kinda like a corrupted space time....whatever. XD

Wow... I'm bumping a topic which was on the 10th page for the first time! w00t! 
Well, I felt like bumping this because I wanted to say that maybe Quan Chi's ending actually reveals the real source of the amulet: A powerful free-roaming sorcerer originated from Netherrealm acquired powerful magicks after surviving Armageddon and absorbing an amount of Taven's spare godlike power.

I recall how some people were speculating that it was Khameleon in there when news of Reptile's ending first hit. Apparently that wasn't the case though.
