Any one got some tips on how to play with Reptile in this game? For some reason he just feels really strange to me in this game...

Use his best combo (which isn't listed in the moveset) Circle, Square, Square, Back+Triangle. It ends in a pop-up which is helpful. There are so many combo's in MKA that aren't listed in the movelists for some reason...

maybe because this game is reffering to classic gameplay where you didn't know all the moves, because of no move list

Yes be sure to use that combo alot, as well as circle, X,X,X. His Dashing elbow is also useful. Only use Acid Spit at a distance, its not that great.

First. Do some pop ups. There's one in particular (i believe it's a style brancer) that does great DMG. Plus. Free damage while landing in Kirehasi is nice. Invis is a good idea. But a visible weapon brings it down. Not to mention it's REALLY easy to figure you out. Lizard Ball and Dashing Elbow can both be abused quite well. Timing Acid Spit at the end of a kombo always works for me. Anyway. Stay in Kirehashi. As Pao Chui is rather slow and devoid of hard hitting combos. Only Pop Ups.

I liked him better in Deadly Alliance when he had Hung Gar. But his Kirehashi sword style remains intact and it is very good.
I tried making my own Reptile with his Hung Gar moves from DA, but there were a few things missing, so I fleshed it out with Sunset and Rising Cannon Legs from his new style.
I couldn't peice together a character looking anywhere nearly as cool as his secondary costume so I just made a girl dressed in black and green and named her style "Reptile." : )

I hate to say this but Sub0 also kinda sucks. the only thing i like about him in this game is his ice fountain. i can kick butt with him in deception( i made up a 12 hit combo. 48% max)But, he is still one of my favs. Frost is kinda week but her specials are very useful.

I can do like 64% damage with Sub Zero. If you know how to use him, he is pretty good.

Lmao, I haven't played the game since a week after it came out =^.^=
But from what I remember, to pwn with Reptile, I just used a bunch of little combos tied in with popups. Once the opponent is in the air, use an air combo.
Man Chuan (or whatever the mother it is) is a good style, but no where close to as good as Hung Har. If you get bored with the Man Chuan, switch to Kirekashi and do tha same thing.
Elbow Dash move is incredibly useful when in a sticky situation. You can overuse it on the lower level characters and dominate. It has less effectiveness on the higher level ones. I tend to say away from the other specials because they're not effective enough to be worth it. Using Acid Ball at the end of a popup combo can be good as a stun-type thing if you need to get away fast.
And..yeah, that's how I use Reptile =^.^=
