wow so many people hate liu kang...You know what if you hate Liu Kang then dont play with him. <notice the period (end of the line) Wow he was featured in only two games after Deadly Alliance...Count them Deception:Armageddon wow 2 games quit being mad. Dont Buy MKSM because it has Kang In There.
To me Kang has a interesting storyline

At this stage wouldn't even be surprised if they made Liu Kang's ending from Armageddon the canon ending just to throw us all a curve ball.
I thought including Liu Kang in Deception was an absolute joke. I can understand it for Armageddon though, what with the whole "every character ever!" thing.

I'd like Liu Kang a lot more if he didn't win every tournament. That's actually the only reason why he's my least favorite character. Having the same outcome every single time becomes dull and boring. It's like how Tanya always betrays someone and Scorpion always seeks revenge.
I liked it when Shang Tsung killed Liu Kang because then he couldn't win the Deadly Alliance Tournament (which was won by Li Mei). But you know what they had to do for Deception? They had to bring him back! Fortunately, it's implied that Scorpion won that tournament instead of Liu Kang.
For Armageddon, Liu Kang should be killed and he should pass down the torch to someone like Kung Lao or Kai, like how Raiden should pass the torch down to Fujin (which was meant to happen in Mortal Kombat 4).
