okay, so do different gamestops have different dates? I hear people talking about their gamestop starting to sell it today, but the girl who works at my local gamestop told me the 5th is when it will be on the shelf...maybe she was confused...

I have my doubts also that the guide is coming in today, But the ebgames in my area says it will definitely be in there shipment today.My gut tells me that maybe they just don't know about the shipping delay, And when i go to get it they will say it did not arrive.

Thats exactly what I think has happaned. Most of the stores just wern't informed about the delay.

Last night on Wal-Mart.com it said it ships 10/02/06, and will arrive 10/03/06, and now I just checked the site today and it says it will arrive 10/28/06...... whats up with that??

I doubt all secrets will be revealed since the guy at the German GC said there's still at least one secret left in Deadly Alliance and Shaolin Monks (and also most likely Deception).

This happened to me when I wanted the guide for X-Men Legends II
it was supossed to come out one day and every store had a different date and it was really annoying but it still came out about half a week before the game so the 6th would make sense and every GameStop and EBGames is supossed to be getting it then.

Look guys not to get you down or nothing but I called prima games and talked with Pam she said that no stores would be getting the guide until they release it on the 12th of oct. Sorry if this upsets you it did to me as well hope this helps with all the confusion about when ebgames will be getting the guide. Also today I spoke with the manager at ebgames his name is Matt he told me guides can be tricky they don't have a release date only games do. He said they pretty much guess when the guides will be released and they post it on there website that's why all of you are getting told that they will have the guide on the 5th which is wrong. Prima games told me no businesses will have the guide until they release it. Thanks and have goodnight

serouisly im glad it wont come out till after the game does if the little info they give us now is like fire in my vains man imagine how crazy the guide would make you i mean right now i stare at the Costumizable fatality thing with an unplugged controller in my hands practicing my fatalitys if i had the guide and no game it would be sheer torture .now when my eb said that it would be out today i was gonna get it but im kinda glad its pushed back im already obsessing over the game that would just be cruel all the knowledge and no outlet to play i shudder that doesnt mean if it comes out tommorrow i wouldnt get . see what i mean obsessed arggggh i truly wish the game was out that way i could get back to normal things
