Rain served as a royal Edenian warroior of Shao Kahn for many years. Shao Kahn's attack on Edenia lead Kitana to confronting Rain about the true fate of his father. After hearing the news Rain set out on a suicide mission to take the Outworld Emperor down once and for all.
