Survival mode PAL version ?

I apologise if this has allready been asked.
But I have come to the point where I want to acces the "Survival mode" But somehow it seems impossible to break down the wooden door down the corridor in the "Foundry" I have the axe, have unlocked all (except for this) other secrets, completed the smoke missions etc.
But sill, I cannot break through the wooden door. (It's not shown on the map either)
So before asking to many questions, is this actualy possible in the PAL verions ? (European) Or has that been cuted away just like the MKII arcade ? It is not stated any where so this is my last change.
Please help me, been MK fan from the very beginning.

i dont know about survival mode
but mk2 IS in the pal version
i know, i have it ¬_¬'

Okay.. Wierd. It dosnt apear in my version.
Anyway, do you know how to break down the wood door ?

As you can see in the very beginning Liu kang is running towards the lava pit, but that specific corridor his runnig down does not exist here...

Well, just found out that I havent tried everything Figured it out now. Had to throw a guard into the wall... DOH !
But I just double checked the MKII thing, and its no where to be found in the PAL version to PS2. I read it some where aswell, but thanks anyway for you effort :-)
