if u go back to shang tsungs island after escaping the first time when u get to the place u first meet reptile and he sez "i do not serve shang tsung" go there and look at the moon
first time i did it i saw santa claus's slay
the second time i saw a flying saucer
then the screen started shaking twice
3rd time a witch on a broomstick

its supposed to be a redo of mk2
maybe it was put in as a funny lil joke

Oy! In MK1, when a shadow flies across the moon, you are given a chance to fight Reptile if you can perform a double flawless Fatality without using block. That is the reference...

It's not only in for reptile. In MK 1 just because a shadow flew over the moon din't automatically mean you fought reptile. I bet you that before the secret got out, people would never even have known reotile was there, they would think the shadows were just some "effect"
