Okay... Can any of the hackers out there find the flaw with the AR MAX codes? I used the provided master code and imputted the reptile as player 1 code.
I started up a game, went to one player, chose Liu Kang, selected normal, and after the cinematic, I'm playing as Liu Kang, not reptile. Same thing happened with the Baraka code.
Someone mentioned holding select before choosing the difficulty. Does this actually work?
BTW: I never got any prompt saying that the codes don't work, just.... Nothing happened when I used them.
Help anyone? I don't have money to buy a new cheat device for every game I own.
The AR MAX codes don't work. And no, you don't need to press the ''Select'' button. That's only with one of the first created character modifier codes, but not with the ''special character modifier'' codes that are in my first post of this thread. They are the best because that was Godshin's latest released character modifier. (the first character modifier codes didn't worked at all, they only highlight the character, and the second character modifier request to press the ''select'' button, so just use the special character modifier.
You really need either Xploder V1, Action Replay 2 or GameShark 2 (not the newer V3/V4/broadband enabled/mediaplayer ones that are on the official GameShark site!)
It's not really that expensive if you just buy a used one at ebay or something. And it's better not to buy it in stores because they only sell all newest versions of Action Replay, Gameshark and Xploder.
Ahhhh CRAP!!!

Grr... well... Guess I won't be able to play as any of the special characters...
What was removed from the AR MAX that made it so it won't register the AR 2 codes?

Time to bump this cause people keep pm me for the codes, and last time: The codes given in this/my topic are NTSC codes, if you want PAL version codes look for topic: ''AR MAX PAL here your in luck..'' because Godshin made the PAL codes after he made me the NTSC codes, because so many were asking for it.
