Well I tried the Action Replay Max codes, because some of you were complaining that they didn't work, and indeed, they don't work! So I recommend to get a Action Replay 2 or Gameshark 2, because the codes in my first post of this thread DO work.

the ones from your first page? can you get Gameshark 2 at gamestop?and you 100% shure the coulds work for both AR 2 and Gameshark 2?

This codes have nothing to do with Lui Kang. You just need to enable the code, and start the game. You will still see all the usual characters in the character select screen with their normal names, so it looks like the code didn't change anything, but when you start the game your character will be the one you enabled the code for. And yes, they also work in VS, and all other modes.
Makjo i have a qeustion about vs mode lets say p1 is a regular character and p2 is a modded character woul d p1 be able to do a fatality on a moded character with out the game freezing?

You can better buy a used one at ebay.com, because most stores only sell the newer gameshark versions, which can't used the old gameshark 2 codes as far as I know, because it was from a different company back then. So the ones on GameShark.com are the newer ones!
Action Replay 2 and GameShark 2 is really the same thing. Action Replay was released for Europe (PAL) and GameShark was released for the US (NTSC), only the name is different because they can just use the same codes. It's the same with Action Replay Max, it can't use the older Action Replay 2 codes, the same as the newer GameShark's can't use the old GameShark 2 codes!
And I tried to do a fatality in VS on Kintaro but it isn't possible. I pressed the fatality button when he was ready to be killed, but it just showed I won instead of giving me the screen to enter the fatality combination. Maybe it's possible on other ''hacked'' characters. I will try that sometime.

No these coded are for the NTSC (US) version of the game, so they don't work for the PAL (europe) version of the game. And they are for Action Replay 2, not Max, so that don't work either.
