ok we knocked down the statue, and we entered the portal to tsung's island, and we unlocked the stuff down there, but we dont know what to do. where exactly is the shrine. now the only parts of the level we can acesses, are the parts where there is a bridge with 2 guards, there is 2 moving beams with spikes on them, the temple gates like where the stuff was burning, and theres only one huge catapult, for some reason i cant get to the part where there are like a couple catapults in a row...is that where we neeed to be? please help i dotn know what to do

I spent so much time running around trying to figure out how to get back there. Ok. Go to the Wu Academy by going up those 3 stonelike platforms to the left of the 3 flaming statues and the right of the 2 swinging logs.
Go past the first two circle like gates to the area where you got the weapon to cut the ropes on the pots with johny cage earlier in the game. Go to the bottom of the screen here and jump up to grab on the roof then jump up on the right side of the wall.
In the next area go back to the bridge where the cutscene with the stone that hit the pillars and fell on you. Go to the left from that bridge.

thanks a ton dude by any chance, do you know how to get reptile? i cant seem to find the pillar, or even if im in the correct waterfall....is it the waterfall near where smoke is? or?

To get to reptile keep going past the entrance to smoke, jumping over the platforms on the river, up the waterfall into the next area. If I remember right the entrance to his lair is here.
It's the area where the four snakes surround you in the pond and you have to knock the ghouls into them. There should be a stone snake head, at the top of this area, that's the entrance. If it's blocked by thorns then you missed the 3 "secrets."
Throught the swamp areas there are 3 trees with faces on them, you have to knock an enemy into each of them so they eat them. There's one near the entrance to his lair too.
