How do you get abilities like wall jumping swinging and others. all I have is long jump. my friend and I cant get any farther cuz we dont have the fist of ruin ability. Plz help.

Keep playing. What you have to do is follow kitana and beat her, jade and mileena. When you perform the fatality on jade and mileena you will get the fist of ruin ability.
By the way, simialar abilities are done in the same sort of fashion.
