Around how many Mods are you looking for Sheyla?

Sheyla posted:
Oh, just as an updated note:

We're looking to fill a few spots. For certain, we'd like someone possibly from overseas to fill the late-night slot and keep an eye on things. Also, I'd love to find a good dedicated TNA iMPACT moderator. We're also probably looking to fill 1-2 MKvsDCU/General daytime slots as well.

So if you lean towards any of those, please be sure to mention which one in your application.

well, i got a question

when a topic begins getting off topic discussion, should the mod post a warning,or should he/she close/delete it imidiatly?

and sheyla, expect a pm after 3 years wink (by then i would be smarter, even more mature, still have perfect grammer, and would be 18 years old)

and to everyone who said that they are mature enough to become mod although they aren't 18,it's obvious that you are NOT mature enough to be able to wait a few years(not trying to start a fight or anything wink )

Depends on the situation. There is no one right answer that fits everything.

Hey, not sure if this has been asked yet but:

1. How will we sign the contract?
2. Will we ever have to go to Midway offices for any reason?
3. What is the workload, besides moderating the forums, is there any paperwork involved?
4. Is there a MAXIMUM age requirement? (Just asking this one, it probably wouldn't pertain to me)

EDIT: Besides what I wrote in the application, I could also watch over General Discussion, I'm good for everything except Stranglehold and TNA Impact! But that could change in a second.

I'm fairly certain moderators are free to do whatever they want, as long as they obide by the same rules we regular members go by.

Exactly. We can post as much as we want, and be as social as we want. We're just like regular users, but with a little more responsibilty.

1) Contracts are e-mailed out, and then signed and faxxed back, with a secondary copy mailed by postal mail.

2) No

3) Lot's of paperwork, but it's all done on the forums themselves. Each mod action has 1-3 documentation actions to go with it.

4) nope

Lol, what if someone faked their age and got the job? tongue . No seriously, it's unlikely, but some people are BOUND to do that, and I know people who would steal an older friend's lisence or birth certificate, I also know people who would let them.

My friend doesn't go to Midway :P. I jsut want to let the people who don't want to ask know that they can probably get into legal trouble by lying asbout their age for a job. Even if its not a paying job.
