The Suffering for Next Gen Consoles-Will We see it?

The Suffering has been a favorite series of mine since the first, and it had some very interesting gameplay such as turning into a beast in a "hulking out" style. The story was above par, and the soundtrack/ambience was superb. Alas, it may have been flawed in some ways, but I can't really name them here, as I have not played the game in a through while to round them up in a list.
Although it may not have been Midway's first attempt at survival horror, it was indeed the most successful of the attempts, and with that I'd like to see this series continue, as I hoped Psy Ops would continue, but that seems to have been lost. Any thoughts/reasons why/why not this game should continue?

It should continue. I know it has a huge fanbase and people are wanting to continue to play it.

A 3rd Suffering would be nice. I played both the first and the second on the PC. Honestly the second one was held back by the small level designs. And it felt like a step back for the franchise. This is probably due to the increased number of polygons used by the characters and the bump mapping.
If there's a 3rd one at least make the levels much bigger and don't screw up the PC controls. The dodging move was redefined to holding left/right, crouch and space together which made it impossible to perform. The first one was much easier as it was just assigned to one button for each side.
