Midway Fighting Evolution

Yeah like Capcom Figting evolution. I think it be awsome if Midway made a game like this with characters from Killer Instinct, Mace the Dark Age, Mortal Kombat, Wargods, and well the only other Midway fighting game i can think of is Primal Rage. But i'm not to keen on the idea of puting dinos in it. Maybe some random characters instead like Karasu from The Grid, Toruqe, Nick Scryer, Ect:

wont work, each game has its own look, its own style of gameplay. in capcom it was relativly simple to make the game work concidering that they all were pretty much the same style. with killer instinct alone it would be weired because it was completly different then other fighters in the time. i just don't see it looking good. even if they change the art of some games

BS they can make it work. They can make the 2-bit characters into 3D and their all dark games to begin with, i see no problems.

pretty much all the games are 3d. and what the heck is a dark game. i said they have different gameplay not game type. its hard to adapt them to match the gameplay

Dark has in their all dark and bloody with the exception of the Grid. And who cares what gamplay they had in their own games. It would be changed cause this is a new game. If Square can put Cloud and others into Ehrgeiz or Namco put Spawn, Darth Vader, and Link into Soul Calibur then i see no reason why Midway couldn't do this.

I'm not saying they can't do it, i am not even saying its a bad idea. i just don't see it working well. besides i kinda have a 2d fighter with characters from MK, KI, and SF made. it took some time, i can imagine how it would be to make them in 3d and in the same style of art

I guess, their game development budget for something like this had gone down the drain when MK SubZero Mythologies and MK Special Forces was created.
Maybe they could have saved the money for a game like this instead of creating those two absolutely short games.

The idea of an anthology of Midway fighters is rather captivating. However, I do not believe this should come to fruition simply because it's been done by Capcom with terrible results. Furthermore, Midway's fighting game history isn't all that deep, Mortal Kombat, War Gods and Primal Rage are the only ones that don't elude me as of this moment of ignorance. Also, and forgive me if I get this wrong, the fighting systems for these games are different from each other, and thus would not provide a fun experience for those who want to play familiarily to their favourite series. Lastly, the art styles for the game are radically different, MK's fighters are more realistic looking, War Gods is completely polygonal and Primal Rage seems to use Claymation, theoretically speaking, should these three games come together, it would not be a pretty sight on the eyes. In conclusion, I am strongly against the creation of this game, for the reasons I've already listed.

It was made by Rare.
Pretty sure Midway's part in it was purely technological.

Midway just published the game. They had no creation in it whatsoever.
