I don't know if this has been asked before. I'm aware that The Ties That Bind looks at your savegames from the original Suffering, therefore the starting level is dependent on your ending from the first Suffering.
My question is the same true for PC version as well? I'm aware that the problem exist when a player has both games installed on the PC. However I'm told that if you install the game in the following order:
1. The Suffering
2. The Suffering(patch 1.1)
3. The Suffering: Ties that Bind;
the problem won't be there. So my question is does the savegame on the PC version work the same way as the console version?
