How Long Do Your Games Last?

Mine generally last a fair amount of time. It's just when you have younger brothers and sisters who don't know how to take care of discs, they get scratched.

I always take care of my Games. I would never leave it out of a case or whatever.
Also i am quite paranoid if a sibling or friend holds a disc of mine, i don't want them getting fingerprints all over it.

Finger prints are nothing, you can always get a nice piece of cloth and get rid of those.

My games last for years. To remove smudges, I wash my discs in hot water. No really, I do. I guess the temperature doesnt matter though. Only once have I actually completely ruined a game by doing that, so I haven't done it since.

Hey, is it possible that some games our just manufactured horribly, and they are ruined after a few scratches?
I was playing this game that I rented for XBox, only a few scratches. It worked up until a certain level and froze. I rented another copy of it with only a few scratches if any at all, same problem. I buy the game for PS2 used, very few scratches, same thing happens, it freezes. I borrow a different copy from my friend's on PS2, still doesn't work.

I think your game is trying to tell you something, "I DON'T FREAKIN' WORK! OK?!

Never played any of the Matrix games. I liked the movies, but the games never interested me for some reason.

Since my games play ONLY on my console that plays ONLY MY games that are all original... they last forever in perfect condition

I let my cousin borrow saints row and when he gave it back it had one little scratch and it didnt work. My blitz dont work anymore either.

My games generally last a long time. I'm not one to leave my stuff laying around, especially not expensive stuff like games. The only game of mine that doesn't quite work because it got damaged is my copy of Super Smash Bros. Melee.

My games also last a long time. I can only think of maybe two or three games that I bought, tried to play, and found out they were defective (they both really screwed up my computer-one I think had a virus on it). Only one game of mine has actually stopped working, and that was a 007 game that I let a friend of mine borrow over our winter break in 7th grade, only to have it returned in a non-working condition. I haven't let anyone borrow any of my games since then, until very recently.
