A long long time ago, I posted a topic about how I wanted to be with midway.
Of course, after much debate with my parents about how that though gaming was not proper for a young lady to be going into, they finally caved and I was allowed to go to art school.
Now, joining midway is a whole different animal from actually graduating with a degree in game design. Reasons being because I know midway won't just give me a job because I have an unnatural love for their games, quiet the contrary. This was stated to me by a publisher for Ubisoft.
"Just because you like the games does not mean the company will take you."
And I want to make sure all you guys know that as well. I've seen a lot of kids that play Unreal Tourny, Mortal Kombat, Blacksite, ect. and immediately want to work for Midway and that's alright. Just try to not forget that when you get out of college with a game related degree, you aren't going to get the dream job. (Well you might, there's always one or two stories like that.)
This was told to me by my high school counselor (and the publisher).
Who knows? Maybe I will work for midway and I hope I get the chance. I'll see after I graduate from college.
I'll know what colleges I've been accepted to soon. I'm very nervous and frequently feel like I am going to wet myself. The one I really want is Ringling College of Art and Design.
Anywho, the whole point of this is to inform. Especially, if you guys want a list of game colleges, ask me, I have a lot of ones that I have applied to I can share.

Yea I have one more year of Highschool to go, and Im not sure to which college to go to. My dream is to work at a gameing company but I dont know anything about the colleges. Can you give me a list of colleges? I need to look into this.
