NAh, already played the demo on xbox live not my taste.
And im not into the rock band, guitar hero games. Im not wasting time with halo, I laready missed out on Halo1 and Halo2 so I dont want to het in on it when its already over. I guess assasins creed is a good second choice.

Assassin's Creed is a good game, I would suggest it. Don't forget about Area 51: Blacksite either; the demo is good and it's from Midway  It's really your call, you should only take in our opinions and compare them to your own, don't base your answer on us... do buy CoD4 though!!!

But if I did that then there would be no purpose for this thread no would there. 
Im gonna have to go with COD4, and Assassins creed.
If you guys want to, you can just talk to each other and compare games.

I would of probably made a poll of the top 5-10 360 games I was thinking of, then bought the top 2 or 3.

Yea but I havent looked up games for the 360. Ive heard of assasins creed and Ive read about COD4. So seeing how everyone mentioned to get one of these two I have made my choice to get both games.
In general though. Whats the best game on any system? even hand helds? Anything except PS3 because I dont have a PS3.

Because the 360 is a lot better. Although they are both the same thing as thier previous installments.
Buy a Wii, if you already have one then buy:
-Mario Galaxy
-Metroid Prime Corruption
-Battalion Wars 2
-Trauma Center New Blood

a bit of a mixed bag from me
1. cod 4 great game but lasts about 2-3 days max
2. orange box worth it for portal alone
3. ace combat6 just a fun shooter with great visuals
4. pg4 fun but could do with a few more fps
5. oblivion great game to get lost in
6. skate incredible controls system
