Midway needs a new Gauntlet Legends game

I played all of the Gauntlet Legends games and the Nintendo ones were awesome. Infact my mom and I just started a new round of the 1st one up tonight. The 2nd one was good too. The 3rd one sucked because the changed how the game was played and the objectives. You can die and come back repeatedly and it even though it was nice it was to much fun. I think Midway could make a ton of money if they made a new Gauntlet Legends game for the Wii. Give the option of VC controllers, Gamecube controllers (so people can have the same game play like the 2nd one), or the Wii remote with Nunchuck. It may take time to get controlls set up for the Wii controllers, but the time it takes to get the game done the more anxious people will be to play it. I mean look at The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It took 2 years for the game to release and everybody wanted it. Now look at the so enviable Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Everybody wants that. I just think it would be a great idea to make a new Gauntlet Legends game.

In my opinion, Gauntlet Dark Legacy was the best thing that ever happened to the Gauntlet series. With it's straight foward level-up system, easy stage progression(crystals, golden teeth and feathers), and decent variety of classes..I still prefer this version over any other..even Seven Sorrows.
I'm pratically begging you Midway to please create another Gauntlet game similar to Dark Legacy/Legends for the next-gen systems with a wide range of classes and unlockable ones too. Midway could also throw in special guest playable characters ala to Raiden's appearance in Unreal Championship 2.
Please Midway, please!

Gauntlet is a good midway title (one of there best i might add.) and im sure they will make another one since they usually sell well....i just thought That the last gauntlet game was to short..and needed more side quests..but gaunlet dark legacy was my fav.

Playing Gauntlet games for their storylines is like buying Playboy for the articles. It's a 4-player arcade-style hack'n slash game. It's no real surprise that the storylines are a bit on the lite side. Killing numerous amounts of monsters with friends is where it's at.

if i played games just to kill things id be bored out my mind it gets repetitive i have adhd and doin the same thing over and over again seems to not take my interst thats is y i play games like halo and blitz madden they never get repetitive like most games do

Isn't Halo just killing over and over, but with a storyline? Wait, most games these days are.
Luckily, Left 4 Dead will solve that problem when it comes out.

I agree 100% that they should make another Gauntlet game. And yes, Dark Legacy was WAAAAY better than the new one. There was nothing wrong with the old system, no reason to fix it. With the new generation hardware and online capabilities, a new Gauntlet game would be a big hit I'm sure.
