I have an awful taste in my mouth that I paid $59.99 for a budget title.
I did like the level design and the graphics were good. But the game has no soul. The duration of the game was rather short and the story did not keep me riveted to the edge of my seat. Weapon selection was small and there weren't many different types of enemies to fight. The Xbox 360 version has also shipped with a few repeatable bugs.
This game is more suited to the discount bin when you are looking for a cheap title that has been out for many months.

Well, I am currently playing through it, and I can say that I agree with you. The game feels like a budget title in the way of glitches and errors. The interface for PC (my version) seems to be lifted straight from the 360 with long load times in between the game and menus. The biggest complaint is the weapons that stay in the air after you kill someone. It is like their physics got left out.
There are also stuttering problems in several areas, but the game is not performing too badly with Nvidia's latest beta driver.
It is a shame too, since there are some very promising multiplayer stuff in this game, but it seems no one wants to play it.

Oh great, i bought a game that does'nt work and when it eventually does get fixed, you're telling me its crap anyway.
I might have time to take it back to the shop and get a game that works instead.
But definiteley not another Midway game.
Ever.

i heard someone left midway to join edios because of the game.
i think it the executive producer of blacksite. he stated the game sucks due to everyone half assing again.

You must be the Senior Forum Moderator. You have looked at the Midway Tech Forum on this game. It has been blasted everyday since Blacksite PC went "Gold" weeks ago.
Most people cannot get this game to work; can't get refunds for open DVD's and mostly can't a get a straight answer from Midway on how to fix the problem.
I am not a kid. I am businessman, who games as a hobby and I know how to build and code computers. I have been successful in business because I respect my customers, particularly if I am asking for a premium price on my product (which Midway did).
Do us Gamers a favor and give Midway executives a heads up of the old saying "What goes around comes around" meaning the word will spread on this lack of customer support and preknowledge prior to release.
They knew this was wrong from to get go. I found it funny listening to the trailer of Blacksite referring to the "secret" and the quote "We knew about this".
I have contacted the Technical Producer of this game and have not made that public. He hasn't done anything since Thanksgiving. Maybe your input can help.
Your help is appreciated.

Wish I could help ya, but I don't really have any contact with anyone in development or technical support. As is posted in the sticky thread on the Tech Issues forum, the ONLY way to get tech support from Midway is via the link there.

My god! setting up an account at this site sucks almost as bad as blacksite the game. It's worthless, my computer screams but this game plays like a piece of @#$%. I cant even pick up weapons on the ground. And thats after downloading a 114 mb patch!!!!! i mean it didnt even address it. targeting something is a lesson in patience, i am a serious gamer, i buy about 3 to 4 games a month, the last few i have bought are, crysis, COD4, gears of war, overlord, and bioshock, all are excellent games and play beautifully on my comp. so midway can kiss my butt, i will never buy another game from them. unless they are willing to give me my money back?????? yea i didnt think so.... LOSERS! Doesn't anyone have any honor at midway?

If it werent for midway making Mortal Kombat I wouldnt give 2 shits about it. Unforunatly that statement is a lie because I love paper boy, rampage and mkso.....wait. They ruined the Rampage game also with the resent rampage game and there is nothing in the works for an updated modernized paper boy! So yea if it werent for MK being made for Midway no one would really care for midway! Although these are just consequences midway must suffer if they want to become one of the greatest gaming companies.
