Alright, I know what you're thinking, probably something along the lines of "Oh, god, not this again, over and over with the psi-ops 2 sequel!". Unfortunately, I have to voice my opinion after remembering your game while I was going over in my head some of the greatest console games I have -ever- played. Psi-ops was one of the most unique, difficult games I've ever played and the story line was truly spectacular. You people say it didn't do well in retail, well, I don't see how. I beg of you, continue with the psi-ops series, don't leave us with the grueling, unoriginal "Big orc hates little human!" games that have long burned out that "fantasy medieval" genre to nothing but smoldering ash.
This is the first time I have -ever- gone onto a forum to voice my opinion about a game or a possible sequel of said game. Honestly, you guys did fantastic work, I simply couldn't put the game down when my friend came to visit and introduced me to it. As I said before, the storyline was jaw-dropping, the arsenal at the player's disposal was wide and assured that they could actually try different tactics to complete a level. And not tactic as in "Oh, maybe if I search along this wal-! Bingo! secret entrance that guarantees me victory!" But actual thinking and patience.
The point of this long, gushing post? Don't let a game so innovative and unique die out simply because the original didn't do well in retail, if I have to I'll personally go from forum to forum and door to door, telling people about this awe-inspiring game for the sole purpose of this genre to grow, even if it's just one sequel.

Every forum and mentioning the game where it should be mentioned along with forums I'm active on. Don't twist my words [Modedit: personal attacks are not allowed]. so now your piss at me on the fact that midway couldn't make another psi-ops 2 but since your new and made an essay you'll think the psy-ops team will read this.
from reading the highlighted only it states your going to spam all the forums you once been on with topics like these so like if you been to neopets you'll make a topic like this or on ght or sa or miniclip.
sorry but actrual staff from midway rarely read anything from this site or others unless somehow you got on one of those open night aim chats with them. this is just another we want psi-ops 2 type up in a mature manner and threw in some dedication to your fandom by posting this everywhere.

I can understand how frustrated fans of that game are. It sucks that something is blocking the possibility of another one being made. I can easily sympathize with Psi-Ops fans because like their game, one of my favorite titles BloodRayne 2 ended with some unanswered questions that'll likely never get resolved.

Midway, remember Prince of persia:TSOT?
It sold poorly initally but they knew it rocked so they made a sequel that spawned a franchise.

well midway can't since they stole it from a guy.
which was going to use the same screenplay in another game but didn't get to.
he sue and midway can't make a 2 since he has own the rights to it.

Ok I Have an idea that for Midway... Xbox Live's Fall Update to be released December 4th, 2007, is giving xbox live users the ability to download full xbox original games, i think Midway should give Microsoft the right to have Psi-Ops:The Mind Gate Conspiracy Available for Download, It'd be like Giving the game another Chance to do good in Retail, if its a success, hopefully this will push or urge Midway to take action in Doing whatever it has to, to start creating a Psi-Ops 2. Think About it, A Second Chance, Come on Midway, i Beg You, One Last Shot, Make it Available for Download, it will succeed, I know it.....

They didn't lose the rights, they just had to pay a sum of cash. A sum they could easily make back with a rerelease over Xbox-live.....
If marketed properly and hyped up it would work, i'm sure of it! Please do it Midway.

Psi-ops was one of the best games i ever played(next to all the halos and Jak and Daxter that game kickd ass) but i dont think there should be a sequal sorta like stuntman it was a good game but it didnt need a sequal(the first one was as hard as fk and so is the second i had by a new 360 controller) thats just my opion

I think it does need a sequel, maybe you didnt beat the game but at the end of Psi-Ops, they leave you with a "To Be Continued" How can you see an ending like that and say there doesn't have to be another game.
