Midway must have a marketing and research team that looks into these kinds of things, and they apparently have determined they'd be better off releasing now (albiet in the midst of so many other quality shooters either out recently or soon to be released) without coop, than taking any longer with the game and including coop.
Maybe they are right, and maybe they know more than we do, maybe the SP will just be that great, and the other MP modes will be fun.
However, if Blacksite isn't the rousing success they were hoping for, I hope they take a good hard look at what people, the customers, are telling them here rather than making other assumptions about what went wrong.

I've tried the game now, and i cant understand why you left coop out and focused on the SP? there were nothing special about the SP to leave coop out...

well i call it false advertising... ofc preorder off ...
i guess they must prepare for a customers "rebellion" 
btw it's sad the way we are fooled again and again by big Cies.
