Well the Wii is for kids.
While I do not agree that the Wii is specifically for kids, I do think it is geared toward a different audience - an audience that doesn't care as much about how realistic the graphics are as they do about a fun game. So I have no problems with the graphics for Crusin. I think it will be fun.

That Wii is appealing to all ages from what I've seen. They've even got the elderly checking it out for the sake of basic exercises, so I'd say it's for more than just kids. At the same time though, Nintendo's still struggling to escape that whole kiddie console image that's plagued them for years.

And thats why many beleive its a kids system (I beleive this also, I know what I like and don't like, and I'm set in my ways and don't care for the Wii and am glad I have a PS2). I just don't like it because of the commercials, nunchuks, graphics and from what I have seen is lack of violent games.

Oh kids and their needs of violence to have a good time. Tell me, did you used to kick and attack invisble enemies when you were young?
Seriously, I don't see why a console has to have violence to have good games. Look at Zelda Ocarina of Time. The best game in history, and it had two drops of blood.

I'm not sure if anybody has mentioned this yet, but this appears to be just a port of the 2004 arcade game called The Fast and The Furious:

I know Midway is stating its a brand new Cruis'n game, but I think it might be just a port of a 3 year old arcade game. Since its a port, it's probably why the graphics suck so bad. Anyway I will still be buying it because I like The Fast and The Furious arcade game.........
Also, wouldn't ibe sweet if Midway would be able to put all 3 of the old Cruis'n games on the Wii version as an unlockable bonus.............

Well the game is out now and it looks exactly the same. To top it of it's being touted as the worst game ever released on the Wii.
Eurogamer Review (1/10) - Linkage
"Everything looks awful. The cars are blocky and lumpen, the environments are blurry and flat. Lamp-posts blow away when you bash into them, while concrete pillars can simply be driven straight through. The frame-rate is appalling, dropping each time you or another car collides with anything at all. If you dare press B to change the music track, the game freezes entirely."
Midway should be ashamed for releasing this giant piece of turd on the Wii or on any console for that matter.
