I don't think that it will live up to the hype. It'll be "King of the Consoles" like the PS2 was but there will be problems. I recall that the PS2 had backward compatiablity problems when it first game out as well.

yea one of them was with mk:t that was for ps1(when you beat shao kahn the game would freeze)

The PS3 BETTER have backwards compatiability, since the 360 does not, only for a few games.

the ps3 will crush.. the x box still only has like 2 good games Halo..
i herd the ps3 will have faster processing power than anything else

What do you mean 'HYPE'? The system is gonna be technically & graphically more powerful than anything of the next-gen systems. Look at the specs AND FEATURES!!!! Not to mention, obviously, itll be the most popular and have the best line up of games.

i think the PS3 will be better than the XBOX 360, unlike XBOX they are taking their time to make it perfect, i think it will be more powerful than the 360 and graphically superior.

Here's how it is. PS3 in my opinion will better cause Sony is taking their time to perfect it. Microsoft was in such a rush to release XBOX 360 before PS3 thinking it will sell more just because it comes out first and whatnot. Personally, I'm gonna wait until PS3 comes out and get that instead of a XBOX 360. Plus Killzone 2 is only coming out for PS3 and I want it.
