	Why are they pushing Mortal Kombat to be liike Street Fighter, they alredy have Kobra being based off Ken thet don't have to compete against a game that htey have out done for the past years look how long it took for that game to be 3d like and plus to even come out with a new game i thought that game died in the 90s but her it is which proves that mortal kombat did a good job over the years i think they should stock to the old roots and not try to be like street fighter so much

It's one of the reasons why they have a strong fan base world-wide and is still considered the best fighting series of all time. Mortal Kombat biggest mistake was leaving their roots and changing the gameplay from 2D to 3D. A lot of people quit playing MK because of this reason. I've had all kinds of people tell me they stopped playing MK after MKDA because they didn't like the 3D games and felt it was too slow. I actually support WB in using Street Fighters strategy in promoting MK. Street Fighter has all kinds of things to promote their games like movies (They suck, but still) and animes (The animes are awesome). I feel that it would help MK return to the elite games if they did this. I would love for the next MK game to be a fast paced, 2.5D game with a tweaked MK2 or MKT system. It would bring old fans back and welcome new ones for sure. A Mortal Kombat anime would be awesome as well because it would be the best way to explain the story without missing any holes and it would be completely cannon.
