ok this is just an idea i had and its the first topic i posted so it might not be great but bear with me.
I thought that the next game should have the aspects of all the other games in arcade mode, (fighting through different characters and defeating a boss) But the creators should design a konquest mode much better than previous games.
For example, you can visit the 6 realms, Earth, Outworld, Netherrealm, Chaosrealm, Orderrealm and edenia, but unlike the deception konquest these realms should be huge.
also the personality of your character is completly up to you, you start off neutral and as your game progresses you can become evil or good.
Also you earn koins by doing jobs for already existing characters, and you can use the coins to buy weapons, armour or you can upgrade powers.(that you pre select when you make our character.)
Who you work for is completly opptional, e.g. you could become a member of the lin quie or become a soldier in kahns army, the possibilties are limitless.
If anyone else has ideas feel free to post.

I like your ideas, and agree with you.
I dont like the idea of a neutral character though. I think the reason so many people hated Taven was because he was so bland. But it could work.

so kind of like an MK MMO? offline or online is up to you...good idea though, but I too feel the same about the neutrality...
maybe it could be like kreate-a-fighter...
you make a new person, you choose what realm you want to start in(and possibly race?like baraka), and you adventure around beatin'crap up. Depending on your actions and decisions, you stay evil or stay good...or start on one side and then drift to the other. sounds fun but it would probably have to be an entirely different game, separate from the fighting game for it to actually be good. or not, whatever.

I was thinking about making it an mmorpg but that game would only be availaible for a PC. An xbox 360 or PS3 wouldnt run smoothley enough to be fun.
Also judging by the comments i think at the beginning of the game you would choose if you were good or evil thanks for the suggestions.

Combo dodge: To do this you need to be a hardcore Mk player well what it is if somebody is doing a combo you can dodge hits but the flurry of attacks won't stop ie when Liu Kang punches at Sub-zero Sub-zero will dodge but Liu Kang will carry on attacking the key is you need to know what he's hitting with if he does a punch you need to press RT punch button and they will dodge same with kicks.
Counter Attack: There is a twist to this well what happens is if my opponent does a POWER punch and i dodge it with combo dodge because it is a POWER punch after the hit the opponent will will be left open for attack and theres no way to stop them IE Liu Kang goes to power punch but Sub-zero ducks and Liu Kang's stomach is open so Sub-zero will start a combo from there he can either punch or knee the stomach if he punches it will lift up the oppoenet if ge knees it will keep them down.
Special Move fuse - Special move fuse is where 2 spec moves fuse together IE if Liu Kang shoots a fire projectile at Raiden and Raiden presses a few buttons before it gets to him he will fuse it with Electric and send it back to the opponent doing twice as much damage.
Freefall Kombat collision - While your falling down in Freefall Kombat you will collide with an object in Mid air like in the Graveyard when in Freefall Kombat there are big rocks in the air and while fighting you can punch or kick eachother into the big rocks.
