MK:SM2 My thoughts

Okay, with all the fuss about MK8 I'm sure a few people have forgotten about this, and maybe it's not coming out ever, I don't know. I'm not completely up to date about this. But here's what I think if it does happen.
While Mortal Kombat has hordes and hordes of kharacters to pick from I'm sure two still immediately jump to the top, Scorpion and Sub-Zero. For whatever reason (perhaps Sub-Zero needs Quan Chi dead and enlists Scorpion's aid? I can't see Scorpion going to SZ for help) the two forge a temporary alliance. The game should be current times, and should continue MK canon, especially MK8 doesn't. That way we can progress through the story and not have to wait for MK9.
Sub-Zero is a great character to have because he has all sorts of allies who'd be great in current games. Sareena needs more screen time, of course, and some of the main MK heroes like Johnny Cage wouldn't hurt. Antagonists, besides Quan-Chi, could be Frost, Noob Saibot, or perhaps SMOKE (still waiting for Smoke's redemption and de-automation) while Scorpion could have some allies of his own or perhaps warm up to Sub-Zero's. This is a great opportunity to get to know Scorpion a little better as we know virtually nothing about how he ticks. He had a family, and he had a clan, but he never talks about them. Perhaps this game could be about that?
I don't know, just random ideas. Give me your thoughts.

I'd like to see an MK:SM sequel too.

Ye i loved the gameplay and the combos the classic special moves the Fatalities the Animalities the Brutalities were ok and they come in handy.

I think if there was a sequel, Scorpion and Sub-Zero would definitely be the central characters.
We can only live in hope a sequel will emerge.

Would need better chars than the monks like the ninjas of course, better bosses but it could be cool if not based on a paststory.

Yea, I hated using Liu kang and Kung lao. I liked using Scorpion.

mksm was the best mk game released for ps2/xbox
only problem i had was when you unlocked scorpion and sub zero for story mode they still sound like liu kang as if it was this hard to simply change they voices but i dont mind really the game overall was excellent baraka was my fav..if they do make a part two i hope it revolves around quanchi and shinnok
