iron fist and liu kang lol that would be wierd. i do think that dc has alot more violence than marvel nowadays. except i think that in the public eye, superheroes will always be seen as childish.

i guess marvel does too, but they dont have anybody like superman, darkseid, doomsday, martian manhunter....marvel doesnt have anybody on that level.

They didn't do marvel or street fighter or snk or capcom because they were already in a cross over even the x-men by them self were in a cross over if you played alot of games you would know theres been ALOT of cross overs, i cant recall a dc 1 though, another cross over with marvel is abit mutch. I dont know mutch about comic's i learned most of my hero's threw justice league other shows, movies and games but anyway like ed said a few places they tryed didn't connect and dc felt like over powering marvel's sucess from there cross over game. abit off topic i just feel like saying a bunch of cross over games,
marvel vs capcom's snk vs capcom's baddle stadium, xmen vs some people forgot who, super smash brothers and many more but this post would get too long.

I'm not defending it. I'm just saying people that have thought of DC Comics as old timey and have never given them the chance for compelling story telling over the years have been missing out. DC has touched on everything from guns in schools to child abuse. Deplorable subjects for sure but they are part of our world. If by "violent" you mean some cool looking harry mutant guy posing with claws, well then I guess Marvel wins hands down.
Look I'm a comics fan in general. I love Marvel and DC, but I like them equally. People just assume DC is all about Adam West-style Batman with the "SLAM! BANG!" thing. Watch Batman Begins for proof that isn't the case. That movie was the closest Hollywood has ever gotten to the actual Batman comic EVER! There are some grim and gritty stuff at DC, and I'm not even going to touch on their Vertigo line. DC has a rep that they can't get away from. A rep of being the "grandparent's" comic company. They are only older than Marvel by like 4 years. DC started in 1935 and Marvel (then Atlas) started in 1939.

Yes i do but, Well Bats i can because hes not afraid to cheat and will literly beat the crap out of anyone if it gets the job done. Supes i don't see doing that but i know he has. Granted both comic companies has blood and gore and violence in them at times. And all character's are capable of doing it some are just not know for it or don't belive in it but that don't mean they haven't done it or won't do it.
Like Captian America when he gets on the battle feild can real get gritty and violent. He decapitated Baron Blood.

so does that mean that the demon nurses (who, by the way, were rather scantily clad) were getting vengeance on HIM for something? did he not pay his insurance premium or something? thats about all i can see a nurse being "vengeful" about.
if thats not the case, is he getting revenge on the nurses? did they give him one too many shots? did they forget to give him a lollipop when he was a little kid?
there is PLENTY funny with revenge, especially in things like comics and videogames. the vengeful person, in these types of media, often fuel their "vengeance" by killing everyone BUT the person who wronged them.
comics like GHOST-rider, are more funny than they are dark if you ask me.
think about what you said, and consider how incredibly EMO you made yourself sound.
and by the way, i gave no disrespect towards you, i do not deserve what you gave me. I couldnt remember the characters name. If that is a crime than I will gladly go serve the sentence appropriate for it.

thing is people r looking too much into how the characters r picked. people r saying Marvel would have been better because there r characters that r the same as the MK one BUT thats now what the characters are actually all about. do u see Batman and Sub Zero as being the same? no but they r similar in Stature and how they fit in their respective universes
