Reptile better be in MK vs DC Universe, Who is with me?
Hopefully if they are thinking about not putting him in the game this might change there mind.
I think just about every MK fan likes Reptile and would like to see him in the game.

I would love to see him in there.

I'm with you, I guess. I'd be mighty pissed if Reptile wasn't in the game. I know how they say that an MK without Scorpion and Sub Zero isn't a Mortal Kombat... Well, that goes for Reptile too, IMO. ^^
I do think he'll make it though. Reptile FTW.

I think there is a difference between "important" characters, as you said, and "iconic" characters, as the Mortal Kombat team said.
Iconic means fan favourite, someone all the fans will instantly recognize, and say "Oh, I recognize that guy. I guess I have played this game before". Someone more memorable that everyone loves. I.E. Reptile. He is a big fan favourite, and is definitely iconic, since he has been in almost every game.
"Important" as you said, is completely different. "Important" just means that they have been vital to the game's storyline. Sure, he may not have been "important" to the storyline, after all, since he is one of those characters who never wins and you are supposed to feel sorry for, IMO. If you think about it, Reptile has been in a lot of games. He has been somewhat a part of most of the MK storyline, big part of not.
So if you think about it, there is a very big chance that Reptile will be in this game. He is definitely iconic. He's right up there with other icons such as Raiden, Shang Tsung, etc. IMO.
So he may not be "important" so to speak, but definitely iconic, IMO.

me personally being a die hard reptile fan wud almost break da game instantly if i didnt see reptile's pic on da choose ur character screen well maybe not break it but i won't play it (a lot)

I'd say so. They're trying to find similar characters in both MK and DC, and nothing would be better suited that Reptile vs. Killer Croc, or, for simple color similarities, Reptile vs. Green Lantern or Green Arrow. But he probably won't seeing as how the game will only feature 10 or 11 MK characters, and there are already two ninja. Yet, the whole Ninja Embargo didn't work well for MK3, so only time will tell.

There will be 10 MK characters with 2 extra hidden MK characters and the exact same for the DC side.
Reptile is for sure in the game. Trust me.

Scorpion and Sub Zero are already here so why another ninja and I don,t think Reptile is has important has Scorp and Sub ...
They will put Iconic caracters that not only fan can recognize but everyone that rent the games or saw the movies.
