It was such a great game they shouldn't let it just fade to thin air.
If you think about it, it has to be another one Quan Chi is the next enemy.

I don't think they will do another MK:SM. If they do another adventure Mk game they will change how it plays. They never did the same thing twice when it comes to adventure game.
but if they do it ... the story of Mk3/4 is next.
But I think right now MkvsDC has to be a success or MK will die soon IMO.

True, MK vs Dc is too much of a risk, it may pay off and it may not. If i was boon I would play it safe for financial purposes.

MK:SM's was a huge hit so it seems very lickly they will make another one. But MK3-MK4 story wont be as popular as the MK2 story. But I still think its worth doing and would be a great game non the less. I think they should keep the fighting style/gameplay the same, just like god of war did, just add new features and new things to do. Enhance the graphics too.
Another thing I would really like to see is a set story for Scorpion or Reptile. We had one with sub-zero, then jax and then liu kang and kung lao. Scorpion is suppose to be the most popular character why hasn't he had a game yet? and Reptile is my favorite and would love to see his full story.
Just think Mortal Kombat: Reptile's Revenge...would be sweet.

I don't know if it is a huge success. Every review of it is average. MK advanture haven't be done two time the same way. So I don't think they will do another MK:SM ( if they change hero , they can't give it the same name ).

I made a post for a topic similar to this just before.
Since Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks is based on the events of Mortal Kombat II, I doubt there will be a direct sequal of the game. Instead, there will probably be another prequel adventure game based on the events of Mortal Kombat III of even IV. The possibilities of a sequel are various.
Personally though, I would love to see another one, it was a very fun game to play. However, I would like for there to be an arcade mode, and an online play option. That would help me to keep playing it.

i think a second shoalin monks would be great and fans would really enjoy it...the story line might be hard but the whole idea is great and online play would be a big thing

MKSM is awesome. I'd rather see a sequel to that than MK/DC.

As I mentioned in my other post, since Shaolin Monks was a prequel based on Mortal Kombat II, a sequel to Shaolin Monks would probably be another prequel. Probably based on Mortal Kombat 3.

Exactly. That would be awesome, IMO. You could occasionally switch between the characters to see it from all their perspective.
