	I have been sticking thru it good and bad, and bad for a long time. I kinda stopped and thought about it. MKDA was bad, MKD was worse and MKA was trash. They should of never changed the fighting engine. When they did that it wasn't Mortal Kombat anymore. Or was MK knock offs. Why do you think the old games are still fun to play and popular? They had great gameplay and it worked. After MK4 they should of enhanced the graphics even more, maybe go back using real characters just newer technology and come up with new levels and new players. But dont change they way the game plays. Look at street fighter 4, there doing that, making it 3d but still playing like before...why..b/c it works. They call it 2.5d and they should have never went to MKDA style. And if they wanted to try something new..fine...but the next year make a true 2.5d MK game. For the True MK fans. You guys dont realize but with todays technology, they could use real characters again and use them in 2.5d and they would almost be photo perfect....They would look so real, it would almost look like a movie. This is how the real MK should have went to. Not fat cartoony looking Mk characters with an all new fighting system that is flawed and has no fun factor after about a month. With all my MK games what do I find myself playing over and over again? MK2 or MK4. Mainly MK2 on my PS3 b/c it has online play. Your not a true MK fan unless you play MK1-MK4 atleast once a week....those are the true MK games. If your a fan of MKDA-MKA your not a freakin true MK fan, your a shit fan or your a true MK fan and your just over looking the crap and trying to stick with the franchise like me. Well Im tired of over looking there crap. And if you think about it, there really not MK anymore. Its some new crap that is using the MK name and MK characters. You think ed boon really wanted to do MK vs DC....lol. Yea right, you know its killing him inside. I know it and you know it to. Its killing him worse than its killing us. But the big wigs told him to do this, so its either do it or leave like John Tobias did. Do you guys get it now!!! When this news first hit everyone freaked and was upset, and now you guys are starting to over look it and stick with the franchise still? Why so next year we will get MK vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.? What are you guys going to do then...? You still going to over look it? Still going to stick with them? Thru thick and then huh? I say...there has to be some true MK fans out there that have grown up and went thru school and knows how to make a real MK game, so do so and sell it to Midway. they will buy it and slap there name on it...just like they did with Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks....Why do you think it was good? lol. MK-Team didn't make it. An outsider did and sold it to Midway. You guys getting it yet? The MK-Team is controlled by money hungrey whores at midway...and wont ever let them make a game we want. Its all about the money to them. Midway has almost went out of business a couple of times...last year they lost how many million dollars? There desperite. I could go all night....The more you over look and stick with them and buy the next game, they will keep doing this to us. Just think about it...arn't you tired of buying an MK game and being sick of it after a month and find it hard to make yourself play it? Is that worth 60 bucks and worth waiting 1-3 years for? 	How do you know it's the big execs at Midway giving us these crappy MK titles for money and not Boon himself being childish with all the flash and pointless features? If he isn't responsible and cared for "true MK" that much, you'd think he would've left the company by now like Tobias did. Every MK they make will earn money. But if anyone at Midway knew a damned thing about fighting games, it's that the more viable they are for serious competition, the longer they'll last. That means better influence in making later games, creating a bigger fanbase and potential for even MORE money.

	when you look at all the games that have come and gone mk is still around and people still play it if your going to say a game is st because it's changing how it plays then you must think resident evil 4 gears of war 2 and damn near all the games ever made are st each year new tech comes out and they want to take advantage of it so the last 3 wheren't as good as the first three when it came to the fighting so what that fighting system is gone now look at the mk dc trailer think long and hard after watching it and decide if the game looks good from what you have seen that is what I did and I'm kinda lookin forward to it -----signature----- where am I and how did I get here? better yet where the hell are my clothes K.C.G.W.N.L.F. rules the vid's I posted were for fun I'll try and get the real thing

Come on people. Im out.. Dude, do you even realize how much of a douche bag you sound right now? You call yourself a true MK fan and you're not. A true MK fan appreciates each MK game for what it is and enjoys the each thing that makes every game unique in the franchise and/or genre. For MK 1 it was the fact that they used Motion Capture of real people along with the fact blocking has it's own button plus the Fatalities where introduce. It was the first game to go above and beyond the norm for fighting games. MK 2 expanded upon it by delivering us a story that allowed even the people that didn't play the first game could catch on to what was happening, delivering not one but two character plot twists, two fatalities for that weren't stage specific, and a combo system that no other game had at the time. The MK 3 series up the ante by placing another in game feature that has never been seen before in running. Plus they had the now infamous Kombat Kodes that allowed you and another player a chance to make the game even tougher. Along side my personal favorite that I sorely miss sniff the Brutalities. With Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero was the first time they had ever tried something different. It was a platformer/sidescroller/beat-up/action RPG in one. Sure it was bit of a failure but as a MK fan I can appreciate as it is. And what it is a prequel to events that happened before the tournament hosted on Shang Tsung's island and informer of what caused the events in MK4. In MK 4/Gold they started to go back to the franchise roots some by knocking out the other -alities, but add another feature that was never done before. The ability to use weapons during the fight which in itself is a cool thing but also being able to knock away opponents weapon then beat the snot out of them with it makes it totally awesome. As for MKM: Special Forces I have no real say as I have never played it and I can't make any informed opinions about it except from what I heard that the writers screwed up with it's canonicity. MK:DA was where they really got in touch with MK's roots by having only one Fatality with each character, the mini game with Test Your Might, but they also added new features with Konquest/Training mode, the Krypt that gave you some great unlockables, plus another revolutionary fighting system that is beyond the even Street Fighters Weak, Medium, and Strong Punch/Kick button attacks that had you seeing legitimate fighting styles instead of conditionary attacks that where seen in the SF series. With MK: Deception it brought in a revamped and more enjoyable Konquest/Training mode that told the back story of the game through the eyes of the person that set the events in motion. Plus two fun and addictive mini-games. Also there was the new Hara Kiri fatality move which is always fun to see and do. MK: Shaolin Monks while not being canon I still found very enjoyable all because it told a story we know in a different way while still making it fun to play for a fan of the series and someone who never played a Mortal Kombat game. Finally there is Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, it was by far the huge collection of characters in any fighting game that wasn't a crossover at least. Sure the Customizable fatalities were a chore, but, was a nice little twist considering that had it been otherwise they would have never been able to do fatalities for 60+ characters and at least seven or eight special fatalities for the Create a Fighter characters and fit it into the game. By far the piece of resistance of the game is the Create A Fighter because it allows us to come up with our style and create our favorite comic book/anime/cartoon characters. Not to mention the Konquest mode is by far the best yet IMHO because it was a great little Action game that allowed us to unlock all the nice little goodies found in the Create a Fighter. You call yourself a "true fan" by only liking MK 1 to 4 and the rest of the games garbage. That my dear sir is complete and total bull-humping-fecal matter. A True MK Fan enjoys and appreciates all the games. Despite their downfalls and feelings of disappointment that might leave us feeling betrayed in some way shape or form. If you don’t like what I said I can give the address of a nice woman I know who can make you a candle that is about 7 ½ inches long and 1-2 inches thick shaped like the very thing you are that you can play with.

	I love when people declare that they are a true MK fan and then bash half of the games in the series. I am a true MK fan, I have all of the games plus a bunch of the extras (comics, toys, etc...) MK is my desktop wallpaper and my phone wallpaper, and my ringtone, and my tone when a text comes in (GET OVER HERE!! Its really awesome, I get giddy everytime I hear it). There are good and bad to all of the games, I however think that the good from all of them far outweighs the bad which is why I am a fan of the series and I can't wait to play the new game. People complain that the new games aren't like the old ones. Duh! I'm glad they are not, and Midway is smart for making changes and trying something new. If I wanted to play a game that was like MK II then guess what? I'd play MK II! Midway is doing a game that has the elements of a classic MK game (characters, special powers, storyline, and looks to be a great fighter) is introducing new dynamics for changing game play so the series does not become stagnant, and with the inclusion of DC opening the game to a new audience that may not have been interested in the game before. MKD was garbage. Infinite throw traps, 50/50s all day. They took everything that needed to be fixed in MKDA, laughed at it, and then added more places where the game broke. Making it different definately does not make it garbage. MKDA had huge potential. It was the obvious lack of play testing of MKD and MKA that made those games garbage. They needed a few more months of intensive testing/balancing to get them to a place where they weren't garbage. Change is good.
