Well according to most of those people, Rygar is a load of crap, and God of War merely came along, took the Greek Mythology idea and made one hell of a great game. The last greatest game for the PS2.
Were you not impressed with GoW animereaper? or at least thought it was fairly good?

im not saying one opinions on the game is wrong but just letting you know that rygar and gow had the same core gameplay. the sad thing is that kratos him self was rip off an nes ninja gaiden character.
beside that isn't daegon a kratos
and taven a herc?

I see now what you mean. I didn't see the video when I last posted, I was using my PSP, it wouldn't let me view it, so I just took the readers word for it. But now I have seen the video.
They do look alike, but come on, when they were comparing the 2 games, you could see that even though both games had the same gameplay, God of War was no doubt the best looking game, not just because it had the better graphics, but because the action was better, GoW has better minions to fight, were as Rygar doesn't, f****** worms like.
I hated them reviewers to, f****** irritating fools.
Saying that the fact that it has female nudity is why people play this or prefer it to Rygar. I for one didn't even know there was nudity in it when I bought it. I bought it because a friend recommended it, saying if you want a full blown action game, then GOW is what you wanna get, and he was 100% right.
It was a nice feature, I know they are just polygons but still amusing, but it would not have mattered one bit if it wasn't there, the "other" action was what drew me into the world of God of War. I like it so much I am gonna get a PS3 especially to play God of War 3 when it is released, as it is Playstation exclusive, so I have no choice anyway.

well there was that one seen with the fates and that one sex minigame rygar was created at the beginning of ps2 but yeah rygar had little enemies to fight with than gow which to them is a sequel oh and heres kratos as a ninja gaiden enemy  a slight edit

Maybe in a future MK, Kratos could guest star, but to cross over MK and GOW....nah.

Kratos would be perfect in Mortal Kombat. Midway should get him as a secret character for the next real sequal.

yes Hratos would be badass in a fighting MK game. And a MK:SM style game with God of War would be interesting.
And anything would be better than DC characters. Of course Killer Instinct would be the best choice for crossover game, but as far as comic universe I say Spawn.

This idea wont happen. Until Sony decides they want to share GOD OF WAR with xbox and nintendo this wont happen. Now im not saying gow should be shared on these systems by all means keep God of war on sonys I like it there. Since god of war is a sony exclusive, theres no way theyll let the likes of midway spread the awesome Kratos out to microsoft and nintendo. Since I own all 3 I really cant say much because I can play it but still keep it the way it is no cross overs.

I have that exact feeling dude, no kidding. Ever since I played God of War for the first time (which was only about a month ago) and saw Kratos, and then playing MK and seeing Quan Chi a similarity comes to my head. Maybe it's the pale skin, tattoos and his primary costume. I know Kratos has now tattoos, but he has that red paint over his face and body.
