The whole article was removed. Meaning either it was a fake or it was not supposed to be out yet and Midway made them remove it.

I think the article was removed first, then reposted without the picture. But, seeing the picture was enough to rile us hardcore MK fans. 
Seriously, this is NOT the crossover game we want at all, and it also dashes my hopes of a real MK8 game. How in the hell can they meld the stories of these two franchises together? Furthermore, as far as crossover games with little to no storylines are concerned, a crossover with Samurai Shodown would've been the smartest choice, that or a gorier version of Gears of War (without all the playful anime stuff).

Maybe what they said at MK secrets is true after all. That sucks. also mentioned the MK vs. DC thing in my topic cause they mentioned it on MK secrets. If this is true, no more story for us, just a spin-off. We haven't had story since Deception, i want that back.
