I really hope this isn't so, but MK Secrets has claimed to have gotten info from Midway itself on a title for MK called MK vs. DC Universe. It was said to be posted on the MK press site, before it was removed. I am personally still skeptical, but MK Secrets has always been a reliable MK site and the news is legit from all that I have seen. (I've used t for years) I find it rather unusual that they would lie and create random rumors right now, especially before the countdown. Anyhow, here are the links, see what you think:

don't beleve for a second it is too far fetched and i do belive that DC is having too many problems over the rights of certain characters to add another product to the long list of what is already out there that is causing issues. beside it will not work because i do not see how they can combine the 2 worlds

Oh F*** no, if Midway does this I'll be p**sed. If this is true, there probably won't be fatalities. The game will likely be rated "T". If this is true, I'll be leaving MK, and this site, until the next "True" MK.

I think I read somewhere, i think it was http://www.mortalkombat-news.org or something that Midway will be releasing two games. One for the Wii that will be a collaboration with DC so that even the younger fans whos parents are strict can play MK and of course the bloody and Gory MK8 for the older Mature fans on the PS3 and XBOX-360. I hope they will release it on PC too, (if they can have a PC release in say mid-2009, I'll still be very happy).

Ah crap maybe it just a late April fools joke. But then again Capcom did have a SF vs Marvel and a Capcom vs Marvel game. It'd actuly might be cool to see Doomsday vs Shao Kahn. But if this is true i hope its a side game and not MK8.

Now im sort of worried, Simply because the blank character with the question mark kinda looked like superman.. If that's the case, What a tremendous dissapoinment. At least I'll save myself 60 bucks..

i dont know about you,, But I want a True, Hardcore MK Game, Something that Midway has not done since 2D or MK:Shoulin Monks... . And just the thought of Mk vs DC,..... destroys my so little hopes that I've had of MK8 Being what ED Boon has promissed. Which I doubt it will be, but I can't say till I see.

It seems that there is more evidence coming together that this could be true. The various topics vaguely confirm it. I still hope this is not happening, as I want a continuation from MKA or D.
