The story line I thought

Taven join the battle field on the Pyramid and he has the opportunity to kill Blaze before anyone else.Resulting in a big explosion killing nearby kombatant. Realizing the prophesy , Taven become a God alongside of is father.
This was the opportunity for Shang Tsung to steal all the souls of Ermac. He recovers some of his old habilities , become younger and fled the battle field. Scorpion and Quan chi did an epic battle but the sorcerer used his power to return Scorpion in Netherrealm again , this time Scorpion didn,t have the time to touch Quan Chi. Shao Kahn died in a epic battle again Onaga , during that time Reiko proclaim himself the new ruler of Outworld. Moloch and Drahmin watched the epic battle from a safe distance before they join in to kill Quan Chi but they didn't have time , Quan Chi fled the battle field following Shang Tsung.
With the help of Kung Lao ,Sub Zero fled the battle field to earth realm , Frost followed them , she want to kill Sub Zero. The Lin Kuey clan is torn appart between Frost and Sub Zero. Some think Sub Zero become to old , other think Frost is too young and unprepared.
Shinnok had the chance to fall on his stolen amulet that Quan Chi lost during his battle again Scorpion. With his amulet Shinnok won again Fujin and Raiden lost all hope. Shinnok retreive his Elder God power nad became a big ennemy for all realms.
3 months have pass. Liu Kang appeared to Kung Lao , saying he is the new Earth Realm protector and that he need Kung Lao to train new warrior.
No one have heard of the Lin Kuey nor of Frost but Sub Zero have been seen for the last time somewhere on the south pole.
Reiko rule Outworld with more cruelty than Shao Kahn , soon nothing will be left in outworld , he will try to conquer Edenia.
Sektor is at the door of Edenia to turn everyone into cyborg , few where left alive , he had a lot of luck to be alive.
Shang Tsung hide himself in the soul tomb regaining all his power , but what he doesn't know is that Quan Chi followed him and he is about to use him to rule Outworld.

no like. ever hear of spell check. Quan Chi would not want to just rule outworld so you should change that. making Reiko ruler is not well liked by me because i think outworld would be thrown into war between those who wish to rule it, the shokan, tarkatan, the centaurs and the other races of outworld. you should change the part with the Lin Kuei stating those who see Sub Zero as weak and those who are loyal to him instead of what you put. that is my critisicm

about your storyline...  it looks like a salade... too much confusing...
