Interesting, I have been thinking about the same thing. How games are getting out of hand with the character models. All the male characters look like they couldn't fit in a booth a Denny's and all the females are wearing less clothing and the breast keep getting larger and larger. Not to sound like a loser  but video games as a whole should have a little "realistic" aproach to creating these character models. MK8 will be darker and a little more real I assume, so the characters should look the part. The only Human character that should be so large is Jax, and that's because he's Jax.

They should just find people who look ideal for representing a character, and model the characters designs after those people.
For example, Daniel Pesina, who played the ninjas in MK2. Pictures could be taken and the character designers could base their character on him. I don't like mentioning Daniel Pesina, but it was the only name I could think of at the moment. Damn, I hate him...

Daniel Pesina is #@$*ing #@$*bag. He betrayed Midway and promoted another fighting game, dressed as Johnny Cage. The game was a Mortal Kombat rip-off entirely, and not only that, it was a huge failure. I think I heard the company went under, I'm not sure about that part, but I do know that the game was a flop. Daniel Pesina was fired from Midway soon after the ad was released. Because of his ad, there were no ninjas in MK3 because they didn't have anyone to portray them in time for MK3's release.
The ninjas are my favorite part of MK, and MK is my favorite game since I was 7. You can probably understand why I despise him. That's my opinion though, and I'm entitled to it

Not having arms as big as a tree trunk doesn't make you a frail wimp. I would like some thinner characters, that would make the characters all feel more unique, instead of 45 clones based off of 10 people. And no, I don't find hug, bulging muscles all that attractive, just being honest here.

The characters should be photo-realistic and similar to MK2. They should base the character modeling on real people.

Don't do that, man. Just look at it this way, every MK has a character someone hates. A generic character.
I'm all for Tremor in MK8 because I think he can be improved upon, but at the same time, I don't really care if he makes it, simply because I don't expect it, lol.

Alls I know is that if they're keeping a chunk of the ninjas (and I'm sure they will) for MK8, then I certainly don't need another one. Besides if some ninjas didn't make it and Tremor did, people would be angry cause THEIR ninja was killed for some storyless loser. Whatever though, Tremor is never returning unless Hell freezes over. So until then, I'll remain on the boards (I've been gone awhile anyways).
