If there is one, hopefully it'll be more comprehensive than MKA's.

I liked MKA's, mind you, but they could definitely expand upon it and add tons more options.

It'd be nice to create original characters as well as all the classic characters.

They may just add it so that the old characters aren't dead just yet...since the characters in MK are never dead..

But, they'd better be sure that it is more complex, like you said. If they execute it well, it could really make the game that much better.

is there gonna be a new mortal kombat game released? what can ne one tell me about it. ive been following the series from the beginning and im lookin foward to the next installment

Like MetaKnight said, MK8's the next Mortal Kombat to come. The title is still a mystery, whether they will just call it Mortal Kombat 8 (which I reckon they should, and have it with Roman numerals, Mortal Kombat VIII, like that, much better than just 8 imo) or make up a name for it is anyone's guess. What I can tell you so far is that it will be more darker than previous MK's. They are gonna start from scratch, using Epic's Unreal Tournament 3's engine, which in theory should make MK8 the best looking fighter yet, hopefully. That is all I know, maybe other users here have more knowledge on it than I do.

The thing that made many people hate kreated characters was the "kreating your own kombos". This made the mode so broken that anyone could take advantage of it to do combos that damage up to, and over, 100%. I never took advantage, but I've seen many that did.

If KAK were to return in MK8, kombos should be presets made by MK staff. Like a long list of combos assignable to KAKS. I emphasize the words "long list" as if there weren't many options, everyones characters would be too similar. If styles are still named in MK8, people should still have the ability to name their own styles though.

The one thing I didn't like was victory slogans, but I found a way around this. If you do not want to put a victory slogan, simply put an empty space. None of my KAKs have victory slogans.

Yeah, I too think there should be KAK in MK8 so that you can create your own Kharakter or as I wanna do, bring back some of the originals that might not be in MK8. It would also be cool if they kept the special powers, so If Jax (For Instance) isn't in MK8 you could make him and add his special powers. And one more thing. Fatalities for KAK should be KAF style, so you can select each step and then use a button combination to be executed.

There very well should be a KAK feature in MK8.

They need to "fix" some things in the KAK, which is probably gonna use a different engine anyway.

You should be able to actually choose what your projectile looks like AND how you fighter throws it. I feel like i'm stuck with a template of a fighter who just throws a certain fireball in a certain posture. Also, what the fighter screams or says when performing moves, should be optional!

Also, we need more control over the appearance. Let's have clothes that we can combine, i mean why is it that I can't have that cape, that metal neck thing, those shoulderpads, AND that chest armor? (i mean, besides the fact that i'll look like an idiot)

Give our fighters more personality, what is their voice like? whre did they come from, Also, how good/evil are they, so that they can intertwine with the story. Wouldn't it be awesome to play konquest, and randomly run into your kreated fighter?

Furthermore: KHARACTER CLASSES!!!
Tarkatans, Sorcerers, Mercenaries, Black Dragon, Ninja, Retro Ninja, Geisha Assassins, Outworld Soldier, Cleric of Chaos, Seidan Guard, Shaolin Monk, etc., (we only had Tarkatan and Sorcerer, which was a rip-off)

Kreate-a-fatality:
OK, the whole button prompt thing that made you combine blow for blow was LAME. So, i suggest each fighter has their own unique fatality, in ADDITION to the combination thing, which should be called a brutality. So, in effect, there should be a Kreate-a-fatality section in Kreate-a-figther, in which you design step by step what your fatality will look like.
Here's a breakdown of what i think it should be:

Kreate-a-Fatality:

This is just an idea i'm coming up with as i type right now, so it might sound crappy. I would love to outline my whole Fatality structure in a more clean manner and submit it to the Boon-head upstairs.

But, as for the creation of the fighter himself, i really believe they should expand and give us more options in terms of posing and stances and taunts. Like what color our fireballs are, or wether our teleport leaves a trail or smoke or flash or not....

ANYWAY, I'm just going on and on and on now. I'll stop.

I liked KAK, but I hated that, even though most accessories/powers/stances/weapons were recycled from other characters, they STILL didn't add all of those. I wanted a Staff weapon style...

If said mode were back, I'd hope you'd have more choice to combine Special moves. I want a character with two different projectiles and no teleport. And I wouldn't mind height and girth options, either...
