In MK:A, Stryker made a great comeback. I'm also sick of Johnny Cage being the "normal earth guy". Who here agrees that, between Johnny Cage and Stryker returning, it should be Stryker?

I would love for John's ending to be canon and it would be fitting if Stryker would join the Special Forces.

Yes, between these 2 hot blondies I prefer the Cop rather than the Actor one  In MkA Kurtis was almost unrecognisable! Compared to his Mk3 version, the MkA one was astonishing (and waaay younger). So of course he could/should/would return in the next MK game. Let alone, Johnny has been included in about 4 games and Stryker barely in 2

I liked Stryker a lot in MKA. Cage is still ok but they make him look ridiculous. If they just toned down the goofy costumes he would be cool still. Oh and he needs a different weapon too.

Stryker has always been one of my favourites, I'd definitely choose him over Cage.
I loved his change from MK3 to MKA(not that he was any less awesome in MK3), he looks way cooler in 3D(his appearance in MKD doesn't count).
Let's all hope he returns for MK8.

In my opinion, Stryker was best in MK3 and Johnny Cage was best in MKSM. I wouldn't mind seeing either of them return.

how about neiter of them return, i am not saying anything bad but i think the nimber of returning characters should be limited, like 2 or 4. i like johnny cage but i don't think we need him in another game. and stryker may have been in 2 games but that is be cause not many people liked his first incarnation. and i don't think we need him in another one

I'd prefer Johnny, he was pretty funny in Shaolin Monks, but as MK8 is supposed to be grittier and more hardcore, i guess humour won't have a part in it.

i kinda hated stryker in mk3, but his mkA apperance was awesome, and he was a good character to use. I think he should be back.

there is ABSULUTLY no way stryker is coming back.
stryker has done ABSULUTLY no acomplishments,if we look closly at mk3 and mka,then we will see that stryker has done nothing.
johney cage is way better,he is even better than shinnok.
in mka,johney cage fought shinnok and beat him,read johney cage's mka bio.
and also did you notice that shinnok is almost as powerfull as raiden in kombat
that means"JOHNEY CAGE is better than RAIDEN"(i myself am shoked)
so what else does cage nead to do to prove himself better than a usless charectar(stryker) while he has already proven himself better than a GREATLY powerfull kombatant(raiden).

You never know what importance the Midway team can give any character. It's a matter of their decision, not the past of the characters.

Stryker was not one of my favrite characters to use with MK3, but in Armageddon they did so much with him, as with Johnny cage the playability drindle to the point of not even using. "stronger then shinnok" i ccan't belive your using the game as referance

johnny cage was fun to play as back in 2D, but in 3D he is not as good. Stryker is better to play as atleast to me. but the discussion is wheather they should come back and i say neither. Cage just is not as fun anymore.
