Now that Capcom is releasing Street Fighter HD, what a great idea it would be to remake the original Mortal Kombat in HD. All these games today are focusing on animated, cartoonish 3-D graffics. Midway, bring us back to the time when we were "awed" by the life-like, stop-action, graffics of the MK arcade machine. Now with HD TV's and powerful game systems, let's remake the original Mortal Kombat running at 1080p and making it movie-like. Ripping the heart out of the chest of a real-life actor would bring back that origianl MK "wow-factor," as opposed to killing a computerized 3D cartoon.
Making an MK10 with new characters, moves, and finishers will not really make want to re-learn a whole new game. Bring us MK 1 HD for us long-time gamers who are familiar with the old-school fighting, and have us saying "WOW, check out these graffics!!!" again.

I don't see it coming, I mean MK2 has all of MK1's characters and they made that for the PS3 and the Ultimate MK3 for The XBOX360. Together they cost 10 Dollars. Remake all those textures and then sell for 1$? Why don't you stick with Midway Arcade Treasures: Deluxe Edition for The PC, it has MK1, MK2, and MK3 and the quality is excellent.

Yea I hope either ps3 or 360 makes Mk 1 HD because I love Mk2 hd and mk3 ultimate hd...but I do have the original Mk1 Arcade so I pretty much have it good I guess lol
