MORTAL KOMBAT on PC?

Does anyone know if the new Mortal Kombat will come out on PC? Remember with MK4? It was the first of the series to be released on a Home System, and it was released on PC. Maybe they could do this now that they are making an MK game with next-gen Graphics?

I posted on the other thread like this, but I will also here. I also stated that I'd like it to come out for the pc, because I didn't want to buy a console. However, I just purchased the PS3... so now it doesn't matter to me if it comes out for the pc. Altho, for the ones that want it for the pc, I'm still with ya'll.
I'm truly a "Fighting Game" genre person. I purchased Virtra Fighter 5 with my PS3. Fighting games are the only games I'm buying for the PS3 besides Nhl games.

MK to the PC!!! You got my vote on that, Bro!!! I hope Midway does not only release MK 8 for PC, but also converts the previous series, especially MK Shaolin Monks! That episode is kicking a$$!

I really want the new MK to be released for the PC too, some might think that the combos would be impossible to pull off bu thats not true, they could just change the button config and make it a bit more simpler for the pc users, it could also support joystick.
I really wanna see MK back on the PC, it would be truly be awesome.

We should make a petetion or something, they should be aware of what the fans need, we havent seen an MK on the pc for over 10 years now, I feel its about time since theyre not making anything for current gen. consoles.

Ok so Epic games listed MK8 as a release on the PS3, XBOX 360 & PC. However, Midway said we hve no "plans" for a pc version, which could mean two things:
Either:
1. They are not releasing a PC version and are not stating so just so they don't lose any fans.
Or,
2. They leave it out in the open and we might see a PC release maybe a year after the PS3 - X360 versions.
God I hope it's number 2.

why? The graphics would be better, you can use a joystick instead of the keyboard, there would be extras (maybe), plus some joysticks, like the XBOX 360 controller feature rumble. So you see there really is no reason that someone would choose to play MK on an XBOX 360 or a PS3 over a PC. And yes the PC would have better graphics even than the PS3 and XBOX 360.

Besides the point that my computer would be too slow to handle it, I neve liked the controlls of computer games, joystick or not, beyond the simplicity of something like MKII.

So you prefer the 360 and PS3. That's fine, you spent money on a console. But think about us PC users, we spent the 400 € on PC hardware because that is what we prefer, if you wanted you could have not bought a console and instead got PC hardware (which is cheaper), so that's why you have a PS3 and a crappy PC, and that's why users like me don't have a PS3 but have a really good PC.
